What are the Implant Stages?
Initial Inspection and Planning In the treatment of the implant, a free panoramic x-ray is taken first and with the first examination, it is checked whether the patient is compatible with this treatment. The dentist examines the inside of the mouth in detail. Gums, lower and upper jaw, the current state of the teeth are examined in detail. After the inspection, planning begins. It is given until how many implants and which method will be applied.
Stage First, the teeth and jaw area are anesthetized with local anesthesia. After the anesthesia applied in order to prevent the patient from feeling pain, the area where the implant will be made is sterilized and if there is a tooth that needs to be extracted, it is extracted. A small incision is made in the sage where the implant will be placed. The slot where the implant will be placed is carved with the help of a special drill. With appropriate surgical instruments, the slots where the implant will be inserted are opened and the implant is placed in these slots and then screwed. After the implant is placed, the cut area of the gingiva is sutured and the process is completed. It is expected that the implant, which is inserted in approximately 15-40 minutes, integrates with the jawbone, and then the dental prosthesis is completed with the material to be covered. Mouth measurement is taken and temporary prosthesis is made.
The complete completion of the operation process varies up to 3.5 to 4 months, depending on the patient and the number of implants to be applied. You have to come back to Istanbul after 4 months. Making dentures or veneers First, a panoramic x-ray is taken again and it is checked whether the implants are fused to the bone. The mouth is examined. After the necessary diagnosis and planning are made, mouth measurements are taken. The prosthesis or coating to be made and the color are decided. At this stage, the teeth suitable for the oral structure are prepared, taking into account the personal tastes of the patient and the condition of the existing teeth. After the dentures or veneers are finished, a rehearsal is done a few days later. If the prosthesis is compatible with the implant, it is replaced and the implant process is completed.
